Have we done it… AGAIN?

We’re buzzing to share that Nell’s Pizza has been recognised as one of CODE Hospitality’s Happiest Places to Work 2025. Out of more than 420 applicants across the UK, we’ve landed a place in the top 25. Talk about being happy!

This one feels special. Hospitality is famously tough, with long hours and high pressure, but this award shines a light on the businesses putting people first. The judging process looked at what we’re doing as a company to create a positive workplace, alongside honest feedback from our team. Knowing that our own crew’s voices helped secure this recognition means the world to us.

At Nell’s, we’ve always believed it’s simple: happy teams and happy guests make a happy business. None of those things can exist without the others. That’s why we put real emphasis on listening to our people, investing in learning and development, pushing for a healthier work-life balance, and being creative with benefits. From enhanced maternity and paternity policies to staff discounts, a Nell’s football team, an employee assistance programme and even twice-yearly hospitality hikes, we’re committed to making sure the well-being of our teams

This also marks the second time this year Nell’s has been celebrated for our approach to looking after our people. Back in May, we were named in The Sunday Times Best Places to Work for the second year running, the only Manchester-based hospitality business in our category last year and now joined by other brilliant Northern names. For us, it all comes back to the same thing: the amazing bunch of people we get to work alongside every day. They make Nell’s what it is, and we’ll keep pushing to be the best place we can be for them.
